Alex Waber is a Vancouver-based fashion, still-life, and commercial photographer. A graduate of Capilano University's Cinematography program, he brings cinematic storytelling and lighting techniques to his photography. Specializing in both studio and on-location shoots, whether in the city or out in the mountains, Alex has worked with clients such as Arc'teryx, Tilley Endurables, Section 35, and Shaw. His work has been featured internationally in publications like Vogue, Wired, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Complex, Forbes, and Montecristo
Alex is owner and co-manager of Doris, a photography studio and multidisciplinary space in Chinatown. Away from photography, he is involved in hosting and facilitating live music events in the city and he goes on a lot of very long bike rides.
